Bears & Wolves

This is Scarface, Yellowstones most famous Grizzly Bear, He is in his mid twenties and is one big dude. I got to see him from 15 yards away early on a Sat morning. Just had to get out of the truck and get his picture. Unfortunately he was shot and killed just north of the park by a scared hunter, Rest in Peace my four legged friend. Yellowstone Park will never be the same without you.

This good looking black bear walked within 5 feet of me as I was snapping photos. Just came down the ridge and wasn't bothered by me sitting there taking her photo. She walked past went to a tree where she checked on her cubs then went on down the trail exploring.
